At Africa Upper Room Ministries, we are committed to deepening the spiritual lives of Christians across Africa. Since 2002, we have provided resources and support to help believers of all ages experience God more fully.

Our History

More than just Books.

Rooted in Faith and Community

AURM is part of The Upper Room, a global ministry established in 1935. Our journey began in Africa with the publication of our daily devotional guide in 2002. Today, we distribute 19,750 copies in English and Portuguese, reaching believers in South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, and Botswana.

The initial response to our devotional guide was overwhelmingly positive, leading to rapid growth and an expanding readership. Over the years, we have developed a network of dedicated partners, including churches, Sunday school classes, and individuals who support our mission financially and spiritually. This collaborative effort ensures that our resources reach those in need, fostering a deeper connection with God across diverse communities.

In addition to our publications, AURM has launched various programs and initiatives aimed at nurturing spiritual growth and encouraging daily prayer practices. These efforts are rooted in our commitment to create meaningful, transformational experiences for individuals and congregations. By staying true to our core values and mission, we continue to inspire and support believers on their spiritual journeys, contributing to the global impact of The Upper Room.
